Before you come in
What should I know before my first visit?
Book ahead, come a few minutes early, and say what you want worked on. Organic Day Spa is open seven days a week at 200 California Ave Ste 180 in Palo Alto, and the studio runs by appointment rather than on a walk-in queue.
A first visit runs in four steps:
- Pick a session from the services menu. First visits often go to the 90-Min Combo, which is $128 the first time instead of $188.
- Book online through Square to see live availability, or call (650) 567-8886 and we will find the time with you.
- Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in before your start time.
- Tell your therapist where to spend the hour and how firm you want it — light, medium or deep. Swedish and deep tissue are the same booking here, so you can change your mind once you are on the table.
New to massage in general? The NIH's plain-English things to know about massage therapy is a sensible five-minute read before any first session, ours included, and our own massage guides pick up where it leaves off. If you are booking to unwind rather than to fix a sore back, Mayo Clinic's rundown of relaxation techniques pairs well with an hour on the table.
Directions
How do I get to California Avenue?
Turn onto California Avenue and look for Suite 180. Most people come in off El Camino Real, two blocks away. Alma Street runs parallel on the other side and meets the avenue at the station. From US-101 or the Foothill side, the Oregon Expressway is quickest.
By Caltrain, ride to California Avenue station and walk one block along the same street, roughly five minutes and no turns. The station is one stop from Palo Alto, two from Menlo Park, and on the line that also serves Mountain View and Redwood City. Stanford is about 8 to 10 minutes by car and an easy ride by bike.
Park at a meter on California Avenue or in one of the public lots behind it, then walk in. If you would rather have turn-by-turn navigation, the map above and the Get Directions button both point at the exact address.

Visiting questions, answered
Where do I park near Organic Day Spa?
On California Avenue itself. There is metered street parking along the avenue and public lots directly behind it, so you are rarely more than a block from the door. We are Suite 180, the shopfront with the bench and hydrangea outside.
How do I get here on Caltrain?
Ride to California Avenue station and walk one block along the same street, about five minutes. California Avenue is one stop from Palo Alto station and two from Menlo Park, and sits on the same line as Mountain View and Redwood City.
What happens if I arrive late?
Call (650) 567-8886 as soon as you know. We will fit in as much of the session as the day's schedule allows, and knowing in advance is what gives us room to work with. Arriving a few minutes early avoids the problem altogether.
Do you take walk-ins?
The studio runs by appointment. Book online through Square or call (650) 567-8886 to ask what is open today, including same-day times. We are open until 9:30 PM every night, so evenings after work are genuinely bookable.
Can I buy a gift card?
Yes, through our Fresha page. Gift cards are bought online and delivered by email, and the gift cards page on this site walks through how they are redeemed against anything on the menu.
How long does it take to drive here from Menlo Park or Mountain View?
About 10 to 12 minutes from downtown Menlo Park, roughly 3.5 miles north of us, and about 12 to 15 minutes from downtown Mountain View, roughly 5.5 miles south. Stanford is closer, about 8 to 10 minutes. Rush hour on the Oregon Expressway is the variable.
